Carbonator Project

New build project has come together. Rode it for the first time on Saturday- It’s ridiculously stiff and tight – the carbon together with the SRAM Omnium cranks and external bottom bracket make it rigid and super responsive. External BB’s are the way forward – much better design. I’m still messing about with the steerer tube ength to get the bars the right height, the geometry is quite deceptive – it’s really pursuit oriented with a  low front end and an active top tube angle that would be half way up the seat post. I’ve got some velocity B43 rims coming for this one. Thanks to Tim from Tim White’s Bikes for helping me source parts and get this sucker together. I’ll end up with some Easton bullhorns on this, can’t wait to ride it properly.
